আমি পিপাসায় ছটফট করি
পিপাসার্ত ক্ষুধা মেটাতে
মুখে জল কণ্ঠনালী ভিজতে
তোমাদের কণ্ঠ হতে।
আমি আলোকপাত করতে চাই
সোনালী সূর্যের সাথে
আমি ভাটিয়ালি গান শুনি
মাঝির পালতোলা নায়ে
আমি দক্ষিণা সমীরণ খুঁজি
হাজারো মানুষের ভিড়ে
আমি হারিয়ে যেতে চাই
তৃপ্ত মোনালিসার চোখে।
আমি তোমাদের দেখতে চাই
সত্যের ঝান্ডা তুলে
অন্যায়ের বিরুদ্ধে মাথা উঁচু
তোমরা ধরবে তুলে
আমি হিংসায় জ্বলে পুড়ে
